The Watcher
Pink, is the warmth coming from the window, is how “you” see me.
“I was playing with the exposure level from my FujiFilm XE5. I got a shoot similar like this, everything else got overly exposed in the light pouring from the outside. The silhouette of the person was all that left. I put a pink under tone to emphasize the warmth and a feeling of presence, spoiled by the sun.”
— Artist’s Brief
Fluorescent pink as a base may be risky as the level of saturation and warm. I still wanted to experiment it. Therefore, to mix with it, I chose cool tone colour schemes mostly for the painting including blue, green, even titanium white. The result is pleasant enough to translate the emotions at the present.
