The Treehouse
“I have never been in a real-life treehouse, nor that I’ve seen one. I can see the effort of a whole family put in and I feel the brightness of life coming out of it. I want give it enough colour, enough brightness to show people how to perceive this natural form of ‘home’ in modern days.”

It is a while after Birthday Bouquet. I painted it within 2 hours on a field trip. The effort of using vibrant colours bravely can be seen even when the strokes are subtle and small. It is still life from the outside and the inside. And… the inside is probably me, my sensations, and my connections to the real life.
